The project is part of the 2024 allocation of the Regional Humanitarian Fund for West and Central Africa (RHFWCA).
This allocation aims to provide a multi-sector response to the communities most affected by the severity of humanitarian needs in the regions of Gao, Ménaka, Mopti and Ségou.
ONG Avenir was selected to implement the project “Integrated and multi-sector response for access to basic social services for host and displaced populations in the commune of Konna”.
Duration: 12 months
R1: Access to quality nutritional care for children aged 6 to 59 months and for pregnant and breastfeeding women through mobile teams
R2: Promotion of infant and young child feeding in emergencies among 700 pregnant and breastfeeding women
R3: Provision of the integrated WASH in Nutrition package in nutrition treatment centres and in the community
R4: Treatment of children under 5 for other illnesses (acute respiratory infections, malaria, diarrhoea) through mobile teams
